i was given the honor of documenting the military funeral of a wonderful man a few months ago.
his name was charles harrison. he served in the marines and was an officer for several years.
and in case you’re wondering…in the second photo down, that IS a picture of oswald being escorted out of the building in which he was hiding after the kennedy assassination.
charles harrison is the officer you see behind oswald in that famous photo and he is absolutely responsible for that awesome black eye that oswald is sporting.....doesn't get more awesome than that.
I loved these so much... and as a former military member I can definitely appreciate the reverence paid to such a great man.
